Programmer, designer, systems manager, blended with a systems architect and a dollop of a researcher. Worked in both the industry and academia, with more than 20 years of experience. A drupal grey-beard.
Billy started at iO1 in 2011 as an apprentice, joining via QA as a software developer.
Quickly realised with Fins' help that he wasn't a software developer, although officially a contributor to Drupal 8 ;).

Having spent most of my life studying and working very long hours in a role I didn’t really have a passion for, I decided I needed a change. At college, the opportunity to do computing was taken away from me, due to lack of interest. I love music technology and after agreeing to create my parent's business website using Wordpress, I discovered a real passion for development in the front-end side of things that I had never found in anything before.
After being offered an Software Developer Apprentice position with Invotra, I can safely say it's one of the best things that could have happened to me. I have learnt so much already and now know what it feels like to work in a team.
