At Invotra, we take accessibility very seriously. From the very beginning, we were determined to create an intranet that was built with everyone in mind. Our product meets the WCAG 2.0 AA standard.
We’ve met with our users up and down the country to understand the challenges that they face and also the software required to beat these challenges. This includes staff from Home Office, Department for Transport and Department for Work & Pensions. From these meetings, we were able to identify UX issues that we needed to address. Based on this information, we chose to assign a member of our product team to work specifically on accessibility, ensuring it gets the attention it deserves.
Invotra has also benefited by engaging WC3 Co-Chair & Cabinet Office Accessibility Consultant, Leonie Watson, on a continual basis to ensure that we are providing the optimal user experience for those affected by visual or auditory impairments. Leonie works with our product team on a regular basis, using our accessibility products that are in regular use across the UK, such as Jaws, Zoom Text, Dragon and many more. You can check out some of her insightful blogs here.
